Piers started working in the healthcare recruitment industry in 1996. Starting at ground level he was part of a successful start-up company based in North London that grew into an established AHP provider of locum staff to the NHS and private companies nationwide. In 1999 he founded Piers Meadows Recruitment Limited. Initially recruiting Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, the team has grown over the years and now provides all Allied Health Professionals and Health Science Service staff. Piers is involved in all aspects of the business and particularly in the recruitment of new personnel.
Alex joined PMR in 2000. Alex is responsible for all recruitment activities within PMR. An Economics and French graduate, he worked for 6 years as Retail Manager of an exclusive Interior Design Company on the Kings Road. He then went on to become General Manager of Wildwood Golf Club in Surrey, and still spends as much time as possible on the golf course.
Camilla graduated from Oxford Brookes in 2007 where she studied Performing Arts in Education and Hospitality Management. Before working at Piers Meadows Recruitment, she was the sales coordinator for the British Fashion Council. In her spare time, Camilla enjoys going to art galleries, fashion, sailing and cooking and socialising with friends. She joined in 2012 as Payroll Assistant.
Kim joined Piers Meadows Recruitment in 2002. Kim has gained years of recruitment experience, and also looks after our three major contracts in Yorkshire, East Midlands and the South West. Kim is a history graduate from Royal Holloway, University of London. In her spare time she loves visiting new places, film and going to the theatre.
Angus graduated from Swansea University in 2010 and joined piers meadows to work on the ever expanding Speech and Language Therapy team alongside Ray, and he has now moved on to work with the Physio and OT team. In his spare time Angus enjoy a wide range of sports from football to golf, he also loves to socialise in the evenings whenever possible.
Raymond graduated from Sheffield University with a degree in English Literature and History. Raymond joined us in 2009 to recruit Speech & Language Therapists and in January 2017 became the Operations Manager. In his spare time he likes playing his guitar, reading classical literature, especially Tennyson and Shakespeare, and going to the cinema.
Victoria joined PMR in 2008, bringing with her recruitment experience having spent the last 2 years in social care recruitment. Victoria comes from a teaching background and is also fluent in Russian and Ukrainian. In her spare time she enjoys reading classical literature, cooking as well as visiting museums and art galleries.
After spending two years in New York and working as a full time performer, Gemma joined Piers Meadows to recruit Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists. She has great admiration for the NHS and is passionate about what Piers Meadows offers candidates and clients. In her spare time, Gemma likes to keep fit and active and try new things, like stage fighting and Pilates.
Jake graduated from Swansea University and joined Piers Meadows in 2017 to recruit for Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
Dominic graduated from the University of Sussex and joined Piers Meadows in 2017 as the Office Manager
A Performing Arts graduate from the University of Gloucestershire, Rachel joined the team in 2019, specialising in paediatric, and mental health occupational therapy/physiotherapy. Before joining Piers Meadows she worked in mainstream schools, supporting children with Autism, and teaching dance classes.
Sarah joined Piers Meadows in February 2020 and works on the SLT and Dietitians’ team. Having graduated with a Business Studies degree from the University of Limerick in 2019, she relocated to London to begin her career in recruitment. Since a young age before moving to London, she was involved in Irish set dancing which is where her competitive nature stems from. She is very excited to be a part of the Piers Meadows team and to continue to grow and build her way up in recruitment
